GIVING…
“Give and it shall be given unto you” Luke 6:38
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son” John 3:16
” It is more blessed to give than to receive” Acts 20:35
There’s no question the Bible has a lot to say about Giving. As Christians we are all called to receive Gods love and than Give it away to others. Just as God gave His Son Jesus to us! Giving of our time, talents, skills and resources can sometimes be inconvenient or challenging. But they are some of the best and most practical ways in which we see Gods Love in action. To Love is to Give, and to Give is sacrifice! So whenever you give, whether it be of your time, talents or money, remember your putting Love into action and acting just like your Father in Heaven. After all, We Love Him because He first Loved Us!
Acts 20:35 “And I have been a constant example of how you can help those in need by working hard. You should remember the words of the Lord Jesus: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”
